- Understanding their earning work and finding out avenues to help them by connecting them to the market, thus opening more and more channels for them for interacting with other sections of the society and broadening their mindsets.
Bhagat Phool Singh Scholarship Scheme
Introduction:
The Annual Scholarship will be awarded to the underprivileged/needy students(s) who best meet the requirement set forth by the scholarship committee.
Guidelines/Instructions for the “Bhagat Phool Singh Scholarship Scheme”
Eligibility and Instructions:
- Scholarship is open to students who plan to attend, have acquired acceptance or are currently attending an accredited college or university on a full-time basis.
- Scholarship money will be paid directly in the student’s name.
- Student applicants should note any special financial needs on the application form.
- All questions must be answered. Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Please use N/A to indicate unable to answer. Leave no blanks.
- Applications must be typewritten. All handwritten applications will be disqualified.
- Attach additional sheets as needed to complete questions 6, 7, & 8.
- Applications must include the following:
- Complete application form
- Three references with complete contact information for each (on application form)
- A copy of your most recent school and/or college mark sheet
- ID card self-attested
- Last school examination mark sheet
- Aadhar card copy self-attested
- Parent’s residence proof (Aadhar Card/voter's ID/Passport Copy)
Note: Scholarship awards are limited to cover tuition and fee amounts. The amounts awarded to successful candidates are at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Normally, the scholarship will be given for 6 months and can be extended for 1 year. The committee reserves the right to relax any norm in special circumstances.
