- Befriending them through spending time with them, eating with them and interacting with them and their families
- Taking care of the cleanliness in their living areas by initiating cleanliness drives from time to time.
- Educating their children through SANSKAR KENDRA.
- Increasing awareness of women related issues amongst the people especially women.
- Understanding their earning work and finding out avenues to help them by connecting them to the market thus opening more and more channels for them for interacting with other sections of the society and broaden their mindsets.
Bhagat Phool Singh scholarship scheme
Introduction:
The Annual Scholarship will be awarded to the underprivileged/needy students(s) who best meet the requirement set forth by the scholarship committee.
Guidelines/ Instructions for the “Bhagat Phool Singh scholarship scheme”
- Scholarship is open to students who Plan to attend, have acquired acceptance or currently attending an accredited college or university on a full-time basis.
- Scholarship money will be paid directly in the student’s name.
- Student applicant should note any special financial needs on application form.
- All questions must be answered. Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Please use N/A to indicate unable to answer. Leave no blanks.
- Applications must be typewritten. All handwritten applications will be disqualified.
- Attach additional sheets as needed to complete questions 6,7, &8
- Applications must include the following.
- Complete application form.
- Three reference with complete contact information for each (on application form)
- A copy of your most recent school and/or college
- Mark sheet copy of school/college
- ID card self-attested
- Last school examination mark sheet.
- Adhar card copy self-attested
- Parent’s residence proof (Adhar Card/voters ID/Passport Copy).
Note: Scholarship awards are limited to cover tuitions and fees amounts awarded to successful candidates are at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Normally it will be given for 6months and can be extended for 1 year. Committee reserves the right to relax any norm in special circumstances.
